Om arrangementet
Ross Couper from Shetland (Glasgow) and Tom Oakes from Devon (Edinburgh) are a fiddle and guitar duo deeply rooted in the traditions of Scotland and Ireland but with a vital modernity that chronicles their many musical journeys so far. Expect a highly dynamic mixture of power and fragility with a warmth and humour that leaves audiences exhilarated and entertained.

He is currently fiddle player in the mighty Peatbog Faeries.

Ross and Tom have recently performed to great acclaim across Europe with sell-out tours of Norway and Denmark, performances at world famous festivals Shetland Folk Festival and Tønder Festival in Denmark where they played to a 5000 strong outdoor crowd. They are keen collaborators and have toured with Fiddler’s Bid and Session A9’s Kevin Henderson as well as with multi platinum Danish pop sensation Lukas Graham. Ross and Tom are touring later this year with Edinburgh’s mighty Banana Sessions in September and in November with Kevin Henderson and Mattias Perez.

LOKALE BYGNINGSTYPOLOGIAR: BYGGESKIKK OG BRUK
Onsdag 20. november, klokka 18:00 – 19:30, Voss folkemuseum
