Accessibility at Voss folk museum
At Voss Folk Museum, we want as many people as possible to enjoy their visit. We are continually working to improve accessibility and are happy to assist visitors with individual needs.
Accessibility in Mølstertunet
Mølstertunet is a protected historic farmstead with original buildings dating back several centuries. Because of its historic character, some areas are less accessible for wheelchair users.
Please note that:
- The pathways inside Mølstertunet are mainly grass and uneven ground.
- The historic buildings have raised thresholds and narrow doorways.
- Some buildings have steps and cannot be accessed by wheelchair.
Visitors using wheelchairs can still enjoy the outdoor surroundings, the beautiful views over Voss, and the museum’s modern exhibition building, which is fully accessible.
If you have any questions or specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before your visit. We will do our best to help you have an enjoyable experience.
