A view of Voss

New main exhibition 

In June 2021 the new main exhibition was opened called. Here you can learn more about the history of Voss the last 500 years. Today Voss is so many things – how did we get there?

The previous exhibition at Voss Folk Museum opened in 1985. It was mainly about the farming community in Voss until the 20th century.

After all theese years, it was time to think different. The new exhibition show our rich collection of folk art – wood carving, rose painting, folk costumes etc.

In addition we focus on history and people that have left their mark on Voss also through the 21.century.

The Ekstremsportveko festival is relevant here alongside folk music and folk art.
